Shopify Store Development in the UAE
Last updated: 23 September 2026
We build Shopify stores for brands in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and across the UAE, starting from AED 3,700 (USD 1,000). Every build includes an Arabic/English storefront, UAE payments and buy-now-pay-later (Tabby and Tamara), courier and VAT setup, and working ad tracking — and because we're a performance marketing team, we can launch your first Meta and Google campaigns the same week the store goes live.

Why build with a performance marketing team
Built by the team that runs the ads
Most stores are built by one company and marketed by another. We do both, so the store is designed around how customers will actually arrive: from Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok ads.
Tracking works on launch day
Meta Pixel with server-side Conversions API, GA4 and Google Ads conversions are set up and tested before launch — the most common thing we have to fix in stores other agencies built.
Fixed starting price, in writing
You get a scoped quote before work starts. What's included and what costs extra is listed on this page, not discovered halfway through.
What's included in every build
Store structure that matches how people shop — collections, navigation and search built around your products, not the theme's demo layout
Arabic and English, done properly — right-to-left layout, Arabic product content fields and a language switcher — not a machine-translated copy of the English site
Checkout set up for UAE buyers — cards, Apple Pay, Tabby and Tamara instalments, and cash on delivery where it makes sense for your margins
Shipping that shows real prices — zones and rates for the UAE and wider GCC, with a local courier such as Aramex connected
Tracking you can trust — Meta Pixel with Conversions API, GA4 e-commerce events and Google Ads conversions, tested with real test orders
Speed and SEO basics — compressed images, clean product URLs, titles and descriptions, and a sitemap submitted to Google
Selling on Shopify in the UAE: what's different
A few UAE-specific details decide whether a store converts. Here is how we handle each one:
| Card payments | Shopify Payments is available to UAE stores on the Advanced and Plus plans (Advanced was added in August 2026). On other plans we connect a local payment gateway instead, such as Tap or Checkout.com. |
|---|---|
| Buy now, pay later | Tabby and Tamara both have official Shopify apps and support AED. Many UAE stores offer both; we set up whichever fits your average order value. |
| VAT | UAE VAT is 5%. We configure tax-inclusive pricing and VAT on invoices so your accountant isn't fixing orders by hand. |
| E-invoicing | The UAE's e-invoicing mandate starts in phases: January 2027 for businesses with AED 50M+ revenue, July 2027 for everyone else. We set the store up so order and invoice data can pass cleanly to the accredited provider you appoint. |
| Arabic storefront | Bilingual storefront with right-to-left layout, Arabic product titles and descriptions, and Arabic checkout text. |
| Delivery and COD | UAE shoppers expect fast delivery and often choose cash on delivery. We set rates by emirate and decide with you when COD is worth offering. |
Payment and e-invoicing details checked against Shopify's help centre and the UAE Ministry of Finance timeline as of September 2026. Plans and rules change — we confirm them again for your store before launch.
How it works
1. Scope
A short call, then a written quote with pages, products, payments and integrations listed
2. Build
Theme, bilingual content, products, payments, shipping, VAT and tracking set up on a private staging store
3. Test
Real test orders on every payment method, tracking verified in Meta and Google, mobile and speed checks
4. Launch
Store goes live, handover session for your team, and — if you want — first ad campaigns launched the same week
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Shopify store cost in the UAE?
Our Shopify builds start from AED 3,700 (USD 1,000) for a bilingual store with payments, shipping, VAT and tracking set up. On top of that you pay Shopify's monthly plan, any paid apps, and payment processing fees, which go directly to Shopify and your payment providers. Custom design, large migrations and ongoing ads are quoted separately.
How long does it take to build a Shopify store?
Most builds take 3–4 weeks from the start date to launch. The biggest variable is how quickly product photos, descriptions and Arabic content are ready.
Is Shopify Payments available in the UAE?
Yes, for UAE stores on the Advanced and Plus plans (Advanced was added in August 2026). On the Basic and Shopify plans you use a third-party gateway such as Tap or Checkout.com instead; we set this up as part of the build.
Can my Shopify store accept Tabby and Tamara?
Yes. Both Tabby and Tamara offer official Shopify apps and support AED. We install and test them during the build, including how the instalment messaging appears on product pages.
Are you a Shopify Partner?
No. We build on Shopify and work in it daily, but we are not in Shopify's partner programme. What we bring instead is the part most store builders don't: running the ads that bring customers to the store.
Can you move my store from Salla, Zid or WooCommerce to Shopify?
Yes. Product, customer and order migrations are quoted separately because the effort depends on catalogue size and how clean the existing data is. We also tell you honestly if staying on your current platform makes more sense.
Do you also run ads for the store?
Yes — that's our main business. Ads management starts from AED 2,750 per month and covers Meta, Google, Snapchat or TikTok depending on where your customers are.
